Thanks Tito, Going to the Outlaws and they're a good bunch of people but thank God for wine or I wouldn't make it to pie time without being bored enough to take the 5 mile walk home.
Tito , Speed and Todd along with all of you not willing to post on the site God Bless you and yours have a Happy Thanksgiving . We did the non traditional RedNeck spin on things Smoked baby backs and Squirrel that I killed this morning and taters with biscits and greens with sweet tater pie.

Oh man, you have no idea how much I'd rather have been having a Redneck holiday.
When people at work ask me how I was going to spend my Thanksgiving I replied "Bored". Now I've done the holidays at my house before and I guess I'll have to do it again to get any satisfaction out of the day off. Got way to many squirrels around the place to let them have a pass during the holidays. Yeah, next year.......No; this year I'm gonna take out some of those little furries and a couple Turkeys around here for Christmas. Jimmy, your truly an inspiration. Time to put the fun back into everything.
I have never tasted anything that is better then a smoked squirrel with Hawiian Jerk sauce applied to it just before you take it off the smoker just enough to carmelize the sugar in the sauce. I dont know to many people that like squirrel till they eat one of mine. For Christmas we are doing Soft Shell Crab sandwichs and slow smoked briskit with grilled potatoes I am just different and turkey makes me gravely ill and unless its wild boar I dont care for ham.I might write a cook book call it backwoods redneck fixins for the holidays. Tommorow is rabbit and squirrel stew over a bed of wild and saphrone rice with homemade sweet corn bread. Oh forgot all served with ice cold lager or chilled red wine.

You know what would be cool? Call up Martha Steward and tell her about your Thanksgiving then offer to do a show where you guys cook up some of those Redneck delicacies. It's a garuantee the episode would spin off to your own show.
I would much rather tune into a cooking show like that then the mundane stuff on the food network. When times get tough more people will be hunting and they are gonna want to know how to cook this kind of stuff.
