I'll lead you there too. My fam and I were just talking about cousin Bill on thursday! It's the morning stop on the Equinox ride, so people can go north to wherever, or go back south to the mountain from there too. Rt 7 is the quickest way to Burlington, but not the best. I can give you directions back over to Rt 30 too for a more scenic route.

I'd pay money to see Todd on the edge of a pond with pink swimmies on casting a line...

Ya not gonna bait me that easy Benny. Toss in a bottle of Hennesey and several Hooters girls from S. Burlington and you got a show. I'll be more than happy to wear pink or have it wear me if you know what I mean.

Hey, how's 22A going up to Vergennes?

Boring. And you have to stick close to the speed limit, especially in towns, because cops like to stake out that road (although they run always-on radar, so if you have a radar detector you get plenty of warning).

Truth be told, there isn't really any good way of getting from Bennington to Burlington without hitting a bunch of boring roads unless you go far out of your way. For a more scenic/fun ride, I'd recommend hitting Rt 100 north to Waitsfield, Rt 17 west over the Appalachian Gap, then Rt 116 north to Burlington.

Hey, weather permitting, I talked about it last year but I'm hell bent on doing a brewery tour this year. I believe we can hit 3 to 4 places in a good days riding. I'm certain anyone who has not been to Magic Hat brewery in South Burlington would enjoy the trip. I have been there 4 times and they always make sure I leave with a buzz on. Ok, one time I was there early and was buzzed before I went in after smoking some_ grass_ outside the front door but once you go inside you'll see why that would seem normal.

Now who's up for some horse shoes?

Todd

Lawn Clippings ? LOL We did Coors in Boulder. Vaguely Remember.
I'll do some shoes , rather good at tossin' em', not makin' em'. That's J's Dept.[/i]

Thanks Mark, just checked out that ride on Mapquest and it looks great. Certainly don't need a "chaser" with my brew samples anyway. Looks like most of us will be up there earlier than last year so that should provide a day for some real impromtu riding.

Got the emails with the camping details.

So let me get this straight... They have a couple like bunk rooms anyone can snag a bed in? Man I'm liking the sound of that. might be nice to be able to get away from the noise a little too. I have to give myself an injection each morning, kinda nice having a semi-clean place to do it rather than sitting in the dirt!

* Todd is going to talk to the Management.
Otherwise it will be a cluster-fuck. A individual will be doing nothing but going up to the office.
I know what the hitch is I think, the Management of the campground want's to make the registered camper liable for their visitors. How can one be liable for say 25 people?
Anyway we or Todd is going to converse with.
Kurt what is your input on the matter ?
Maybe the individuals can just say they are with the BTB Group and pay ? ( That will make the camp group as a whole responsible) Which is a better idea anyway.

the drom rooms are clean and so is the bathroom I stayed there last year. You can get it with bedding or bring your own sleeping bag and towel. FYI the store accross the road closed on the 20 of May so getting supplies will be a little harder
