I got my new jetting done and its ready to go. I am not sure about the elavation but it shouldn't bother it to bad. Uncle Charlie is a friend of several people here and Hedge has spoke up for him and says he's a great person to know . I cant wait I might have to get the jacket out for myself if this ride doesn't hurry up.

The unforgiven-gas

Calculating Gas stops about every 250 mi , even have rates per city as of right now.To be safe in Calculation - (26 gallon tank) 3-Tanks will way do it......Theoretically at 19 mpg/713.63 mi =37.5 gal............ 2- tanks =52 gallons should be enough but I'm not going to go by theory...To many variables. Now I'll have to Calculate $$$$ To and From. Wish me luck....I don't want to blow a headgasket. Speed.

Speed you keep workin on it and you will get there . I hope work picks up or the secound bike is going to be on hold for awhile. The holidays slows my work down for a couple of weeks and then the weather gets ya so I will be catching up on some honeydos around here for a week or two.

UncleCharlie is a very old friend of mine, who up until 6 months ago, I had lost contact with for about 20+ years. Way back in the day we both worked for Johnny Winter and were on the road together for many years. Yes there are many stories to be told and perhaps when we are all up at the BTB, after a few beers, Charlie might crack open the vault and tell a few. We magically re-united on the RAT about 6 months ago and I couldn't be happier! :-)

Speedblaster, familiar with bonnevilleamerica.com? Hop over and check it out. Uncle Charlie is a big contriubutor over there, as am I, just one of the local friendlies :) Glad you are helping keep Brent in business! He's a good guy too.

Didn't he have a brother Edgar and didn't they both contribute to that 70's hit 'Frankenstein' a 'hit' well in front of the times as far as ingenuity.

Yup that's him. Edgar Winter was the more pop guy who played Frankenstein. Johnny was more exclusively blues. He produced and played on Muddy Waters' "Hard Again" which is one of my favorite albums. Check it out.
